Comment box not showing

    I am trying to enble comments on one of my posts but the comment box doesnt appear. This is my second wordpress site and the comments work without fault on the first one.

    I have enabled comments in the “discussion” setting on the main dashboard. I have enabled comments in the comments section of the post editor. I installed Disqus and that didnt work either!

    Can anyone help?

    Last shot…

    Ive searched some of the suggestions on this forum and changed some of the code but still no luck. I think it may be something to do with the theme Im using.

    Anyone??

    I’m using Twenty Eleven theme and found when I’m in page edit mode I can click on “screen options” at the top right which drops down to show more editing options. Check the “Comments” box if you want them to appear on that page. This way you can turn them on or off for each page.

    Thanks.

    I used that method to turn off comments on the other posts but when I do the same thing to turn comments on…nothing.

    Actually the top of the posts says you can`t leave a comment or you can leave a comment. But on my problem post it says “leave a message” but under the post theres no place to leave a message!?
