    Hello,
    I’ve just started using wordpress after much consideration on a blog cms for my website. I’m attempting to write a theme to match the site it is a subdomain of and suceeded to a reasonable degree with the exception of a few points and I was wondering if I could get some help in the matter.

    my blog is blog.zayelion.com the issue is with the comments, none can be posted because the link to from clicking comments send the reader to a view of just the entry.

    I’ve peered over the Codex and it didn’t help as much as I thought, I’m still so confused.

  • I think the comment form had not added to your theme.

    You should check back your theme if the comment form function exists?

    I have a Comment.php or is it a line that goes in the function.php or does it need to be called with a command in single.php ? I don’t have a single.php.

    I’m rather lost.

    <?php comments_template(); ?>
    was missing in the index after The Loop

    My comment box is missing from my blog http://www.polygamy411.com I’ve tried everything suggested by everyone, with no luck. My hosting said it’s probably a problem with my settings. I’ve tried looking into that, as well. I’d be grateful for someone to help me, as the problem is causing me to lose valuable comments on my blog.

    Thanks much in advance!

    Twice on separate ocassions my comment boxes went missing from all my posts. The host of “Fast and Secure Contact Form” was kind enough to help me. I had to go into each post and put a check in the box where it says “allow comments.” It was very annoying and taxing, as I have 189 posts. I think the comment boxes go missing when I upgrade WordPress. If anyone knows an easier solution to the problem, I’d appreciate knowing it to save me time and trouble in the future, if it happpens again.
    Thank you! Ana
