Combining Forum, Shop and Website

    Hi,

    we are looking at replacing a website which currently uses a vbulletin forum, a custom PHP website and Cubecart e-commerce shop, ideally we want to combine all of this in to a new wordpress theme and installation so that we have everything in one place.

    I’ve heard of buddy press which I believe bridges to the WP user database, and I think we’ve found a way to import all posts, boards and users from the current vbulletin forum – Some questions here:

    Is it possible to lock down buddy press so that only users who are logged in would be able to access the ‘forum’ part?

    If we import this database as WP users, would they also be able to use their account to integrate with an e-commerce plugin, if so any recommendations of plugin?

    And lastly, ideally we need the shop, website and forum to utilize the same theme so that everything looks the same, ideally using Artisteer if possible?
