[resolved] Columns (5 posts)

    Hey all,

First of all, great plug in - totally making my site setup run so much faster.

So I've seen a couple of posts on here about showing the posts in column form instead of one list. I have the code posted here: http://www.billerickson.net/code/add-column-classes-to-display-posts-shortcodes/ and have installed it to the functions.php file of my theme's files. I'm currently running Pitch extended theme on my site.

I'd like to get it to that the posts get displayed across the page instead of down it. My site is here: bryanchristensendesigns.com

Maybe I'm not using the argument right in the short code.

Here's the code I'm currently running:

    [display-posts category="Fine Art" image_size="thumbnail" include_title=false wrapper="div"]

I've tried using commands like post_class='one-third' to no avail.

Any ideas on how to resolve this?

    Thanks!
    Bryan

I don't see any posts listed on that page so I can't troubleshoot. Are you sure you included the CSS at the bottom of ( http://www.billerickson.net/code/add-column-classes-to-display-posts-shortcodes/ ) to your style.css file?

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for responding! Sorry about the link, the page I'm trying to work on is here: http://bryanchristensendesigns.com/?page_id=27

I've installed the code into style.css but I still am not seeing what I want to happen. I have a feeling I'm calling it wrong in my short code. Is the call supposed to be post_class="one-third" for example?

    Thanks!

I figured out the problem was that there was a duplicate style.css file in a folder for the premium theme, putting the code there worked. Thanks so much for the great plug-in!

Sorry for the additional post, but I seem to be having an issue.

I added the code from http://www.billerickson.net/code/add-column-classes-to-display-posts-shortcodes/ to my function.php and style.css, yet I am still only getting the list.

Is there something I need to put in the shortcode? I am missing something here.

    Thx J
