[resolved] column pagination? (6 posts)

The spread sheet we are showing has several columns and it is going off of our WordPress blog page. Is there a way to limit the columns just like you can limit the rows?

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

No, sorry, pagination for columns is not possible :-( The external DataTables JavaScript library that TablePress uses for the row pagination doesn't have this feature. It does however have a very nice horizontal scrolling feature that you could try. Just check the "Horizontal Scrolling" checkbox on the "Edit" screen of your table to enable it.

thanks for you help. I did it and it worked in the preview but not on the blog post? And if we get it to work will it be the size of the blog post page? If you need a link to the page I can email it to you if you want.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

this probably indicates a JavaScript conflict then.
Yes, the table will have the width of the content area/blog post page.

Please send me an email with the link to the page with the table, I'll gladly take a look. You can find my address in the main plugin file "tablepress.php".

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi,

thanks! I've received it and replied with what I think causes this: When using features of the DataTables JS library, you can not have combined cells in the table.

    Regards,
    Tobias
