• I am using the theme StripedPlus 1.0 (http://theundersigned.net/downloads/) which I have uploaded here: http://these-words.org/wp

I have been able to go through the style sheet and the php files and tweak some of the design to my liking, however I would like to expand the main “table” where the blog is posted to add a column on the left side of it, thus expanding the table as a whole along w/ the width of the banner/navigation etc…but I am unsure how to go about doing this as I’m fairly new to the CSS design/Php includes etc.

I hope that makes sense, basically I want a two column design like this: http://teo.esuper.ro/ implemented into the theme I am using…can anyone help 🙁

  • The actual theme on esuper.ro is available for download here:

(I mention that in case you werent aware, and because it’s usually much easier for folks to “tweek” the 2 column theme than it is to add a columns to one that has none.)

Well I realize that is available for download and in fact I have that one installed on my WP – however, I liked the overall design of the theme I am using now etc…I just wanted to add a column to it but wasnt sure how to go about doing so =/

Please READ what whooami said, it would be easier to use that theme, link she provided there…and just add stuff from the theme you have now.. Tweak it up that is.. I do it all the time.. =P

Background images, images, “wrappers”, column sizes can be controlled via the CSS file and other files of course..
