WP-Table Reloaded
[resolved] colspan error (4 posts)

I'm having trouble with some basic table options. I get the following error message when I load my page:

DataTables warning (table id = 'wp-table-reloaded-id-6-no-1'): Requested unknown parameter '2' from the data source for row 0

After adding each change one at a time, it comes down to only the #colspan# entry on the second row. I've fred it in several different theme with the same results. Here's the page:

I am also loosing the alternating colors for each row and have that gray background showing on the part numbers.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi,

this error is raised by the DataTables JavaScript library (which has the sorting/search/pagination features). Unfortunately, it does not always work with tables that have colspanned cells.
So, to remove the error message, you will either have to turn off DataTables for this table (by unchecking the "Use JavaScript library" checkbox), or remove all #colspan#, if you need the DataTables library.

Also, about the weird styling of the right column:
Very, very likely, this is the same problem as was discussed in these threads:

Thank you so much for that help.

Both problems were solved with your fixes: the colspan error and the styling of the right column.

    Chez
