[resolved] Colour of headings (9 posts)

    Hi,

I have been changing the colour of my headings on pages to red but would now like to restore them to the dull blue that headings on posts have.

The red is too loud and the available shades of blue seem a bit on the loud side too.

The default colour for page headings is black and the dull blue is not available among the text colours at the top of the page edit panel.

Does getting this dull blue involve manual code changes?

    Thanks.

    Which theme are you using?

Actually having experimented a bit more, the dullest blue available in the page editor might look better because it distinguishes headings from web links.

I am using the Twenty Twelve theme.

How exactly are you changing the colours?

At the top of the page editing panel is an underlined capital "A" icon. This offers a range of 8 x 4 colours. I am currently selecting the blue at the top of column 7.

As you have been customising the heading colours via the Visual content editor, you will now have to manually remove those changes in each Post & Page.
