    everytime i try to change the color of my dates...it doesn't work, and the text always stays white no matter what hex code i use. however, background colors and borders for dates all work in changing color, its just the font that won't change.any idea why? i use h1 for the dates. oh, and i don't think it's anything with wordpress,because this has happened nearly everytime i've installed it, and i just never knew how to fix it.

    How about editing your post to remove the css and then, with a link to your blog, I will give you the answer.

    The use of iframes kinda hinders things, but I was able to break out of the frame... Your dates are currently displayed in h1 tags without any class identification so you can use...

    h1 {
    color:yellow;
    }

    or for just h1 tags within post divs:

    .post h1

    I think you will find that it does work outside of the iframe.

    Yep, probably because you have some errors in your css. I can get it to work using FF and Web Developer.

    Here are the errors...

    (heh-heh!) The reason you cannot get it to change color is that below where you have the h1 css with color:yellow, you also have:

    h1, h1 a, h1 a:hover, h1 a:visited, .description {
    text-decoration: none;
    color: white;
    }

    (I was adding the h1 color at the bottom of the CSS in Web Developer so I didn't notice the problem)
