it would be much easier to see which posts had received new replies or resolved if they were color coded in some way, rather than having to check each listed topic for "no replies since." perhaps even having an rss feed available for a users started or replied to topics, allowing an active forum contributor to keep up with thread progression/updates.

Your profile shows the threads you've posted in, and if there has been a reply and how long ago it was.
Each thread also has an rss feed, as well as a subscribe by email.

And you can add them to your favorites, and follow them all via RSS :)

yeah i noticed the rss feed for the favorites, and i guess that makes sense. that's fine. but i would like the links to be color coded to identify the status of the thread. would be simple enough, since it's already displaying whether there was a new entry or not.

It kind of does that already.
Notice the URL of the topic changes with the number of replies. Right now, this topic's URL ends in ?replies=4, but when I post this reply it'll change to ?replies=5.
What I do is just reload every topic after replying, thus marking it as visited in my browser.
In your profile, visited links will be a much lighter shade of blue than non-visited links.
If you have reloaded or visited a topic that ends in your reply, it'll change back to the darker blue once a new reply is made (thus changing the URL).
It's a bit hack-ish, but it saves a ton of time.

oh ok yeah that works. nice catch. i guess i was just looking for something a little more obvious then the lighter blue, but i'll def pay more attention to that now. thanks @james.
