   I have a modified version of the Blue Curves theme running on my site. I wanna personalize it even more. At first, I was thinking maybe shades of peach, then I did a couple high-contrast blue/orange versions. I'm not sure what I think of any of them, so I thought I would ask for some C&C.

   Anyway, here is a quick mockup of the site. Any color suggestions?

   I like the all peach one and the orange content w/blue sidebar.

   I maintain a peachy kind of site myself. Yours is nice, but it might be a bit bland for you. The orange/blue schemes look a bit harsh though. Which leaves the blue/blue :)

   Have we covered every alternative now? Great!

   Thanks guys. I was tinkering some more this morning, I cam up with an orange/green/violet one (violet has since turned to blue at the request of a friend)

   Alright, I have got Muted Limeade installed as my new theme. Thanks to everyone for helping, esp. Tech Wench. I'm glad I have my own color space - makes the site feel more personalized, and I think it fits a bit better.

    Yes, muting the colors a bit helps a lot.

    BTW, I like the blinking eyes too!

    lol thanks, those were an accident. I like to use my Yahoo! avatar as my profile icon, but i didn't have a copy of it on my harddrive, so I screenshotted it, but it happened to blink as I did, so I got it again. I had both aligned, and I thought it was a cool effect, so I made it a gif. =)
