   I currently have a website running 2.9.2 but am going to be launching a new one for a professional society chapter I'm starting.

   As part of the new site I'm going to launch, I'm going to want to be able to collect contact info so I can add them to a database and mailing list.

   Can someone tell me how to do this? I'm still a nyoob at this and need all the help I can get.

   You could install the Subscribe2 plugin or an external mailing list manager like PHP List.

   Thanks. I'll have to check those out.

   Like I said, I'm a nyoob and hadn't heard of either.
