   I would like to have customers/visitors to fill out forms on the website and have those collected info loaded into a database for processing. How can I do this from a WordPress?

   Have a look at cForms II - http://www.deliciousdays.com/cforms-plugin.
   General Features -> Database based tracking of submitted data (XML, CSV, TAB)
