This is a manual process though – how do I collect all the urls on my blog and easily delete the ones I don’t want?
You are not talking about your Blogroll, I think. Otherwise you could use this:
http://www.yoursit.com/blog/wp-links-opml.php
or
http://www.yoursite.com/wp-links-opml.php
Do a search for sitemap.
Checking all internal and external links can be done here:
http://validator.w3.org/checklink?
Normally I use Xenu http://home.snafu.de/tilman/xenulink.html
Also creates a sitemap.
Thanks for these but it’s still not what I want.
I have a blog which has 1500 posts on it. Many of these have some kind of external link. Let’s say there are 500 external links. I want to list these in a directory on my blog bu first I have to gather them all and add them to my Links directory. How would I do this?
Xenu does produce a list of valid url’s. You can copy that to Excel, sort it and delete the internal url’s easily. So in three minutes I reduced my 2800 url’s to a list of 480 external url’s
