Collapsible Menu using PureDOMexplorer?

I would dearly love to be able to expand and collapse all of the categories on my sidebar but haven’t found a way to do so. The closest i have some to seeing this done with worpress is someone installing pureDOMexplorer javascript or pde.js. I am wondering if anyone has managed to pde.js successfully or if there are any other suggestions for collapsible navigation out there that are easy to implement?
