First, this is a great, simple tool that's made my content management much easier. Thanks!
I have a responsive site in development and all the content pages open from big buttons into a modal window. I'm new to WordPress and it doesn't help that the previous developer created his own theme with the site I'm referring to. I'm sure the answer is simple, but I'm stumped. What do I need to do to get on the clue train and get this great menu to work in a modal window?
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/jquery-collapse-o-matic/
Please provide a link to the site you are referring to.
OK, and where are you using the collapse plugin? do you want to set up a test page so we can figure out how to get the plugin working on these overlays?
Sure. Thanks for replying:
To test the C.O.M.in context (where it doesn't currently work):
Go to http://youmatterpdhc.u3-brewhousemedia.com/ > Click on the "FAQ" button or the "FAQ" in the expanded menu
To verify that it does work outside the overlay:
Go to: http://youmatterpdhc.u3-brewhousemedia.com/faq-sample/
OK! I think I got it: Because the content is being loaded dynamically, the DOM does not know about the new collapse-o-matic elements. This can be fixed in a couple ways. Which version of WP are you using? We'll get you squared away.
Great... I'm in WordPress 3.4.1
Hey, sorry for the delay. Please download and install the alpha version of Collapse-O-Matic 1.5 from The Plugin Oven. Once installed, check the box to use jQuery's .on() Event Handler under Dashboard > Settings > Collapse-O-Matic
This should attach the event handler to any dynamically loaded content (content that comes via AJAX or is loaded in a modal window)
Please let us know how it works out for you!
