Support » Fixing WordPress » Cold Fusion and WordPress

  • I work with a site that is currently generated by ColdFusion and Access databases. WordPress, php and MySQL are installed on a server different from the web site server. My task is to integrate a WordPress blog into an existing ColdFusion page. The ColdFusion page needs to retain its connections to the Access databases.

Can I include the WordPress blog as an ssi, where it is processed by the blog server and merely output on the page via the web server? Or is there some way the blog content can be output to a format (xml or something) that
could then be pulled into the Cold Fusion page? So, my current mission is to integrate the WordPress blog with a ColdFusion page. Can anyone give me suggestions, comments, a starting point, even search terms?

    Hi Sarah-

Did you ever find out the answer to this query? I am in the same boat as you were. Out website runs on ColdFusion and we are planning a Client-only blog using WordPress. I need to use the client credentials and make sure only clients that logged into the website are able to see the blog!

    Any thoughts/ideas would help.

    Have a good one!

With some php and codex research, integration can be relatively straightforward. But first, you must grok “The Loop“. 🙂
