catwingzI am fairly certain this happened when I set up the Robots Meta plugin, but since I slipped up and was also adding the code for Google and Bing while setting up the Google Analyticator plugin I can't totally rule that one out either.
This code now shows on all pages below the navigation bar:

I put verification code for both in the plugin fields and the meta tag code in my header.php file. If I remove the code snippets from the header or disable those plugins the code remains visible on the page. Clearly I've done something wrong, but none of the instructions and tutorials I found covered the steps with the code very well. I didn't change the .htaccess file within the Dashboard and it's not writable so I think that is out of the picture.
