It works just fine in Firefox but when viewed through Internet Explorer or Safari, there is excess code (and posts) that appears that would usually show up on a second page. Not sure where to start when troubleshooting this, any suggestions?

was related to a "Ultimate Google Analytics" plugin where the debugging option is enabled.
Problem solved.
