I was getting a lot of spam lately, so I closed the comments for all past post by running a MySQL query.
All the comments are now closed, and I still get spam.
I've searched..., found similar posts, but I guess I did what I was supposed to do.
Couldn't solve the problem.
(I have disabled comments, but comments continue to be posted.

FWIW, I'm running into this exact same problem. I've gone through all my posts and unchecked the "allow comments" option. In fact, this appears to work because when I go into the comments section of a post, it tells me that "Comments are closed". Howeveer, I'm still receiving spam. There must be another entry point for posting comments that I'm missing...

P.S., I'm running version 1.5.2 of WordPress.
You are receiving trackback spam. There are plenty of anti-trackback spam plugins here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugins/Spam_Tools#Trackback_Spam
I recommend either Bad Behavior or Spam Karma.
