Hi, I would like to know if its possible to shutdown or close the comments option.
Ive been asked to make a website for a small NGO and they need to be able to update the text, images etc. So I thought about using a blog, the thing is that if after a new article there is the comments option it doesnt really look like a website.
Can I make this dissapear? How?

Yes, if you have version 2.7.1 (and, no doubt, some earlier versions), on your dashboard page, go to "comments status" and you will find various choices for things you can do with comments, including close comments, etc.
