Cloned active WP site to new host server and changed URL

    Cloned active WP site to new host server and changed URL to http://www.holorising.com. (The original site still sits on GoDaddy as http://jitendradarling.com, which I don’t want to edit over)

    I changed the URL and home settings in the data base and changed the wp-config items in the file manager.

    I can now access the site through the new URL but I can’t figure out how to create a new username and password to access the holorising.com dashboard. Where/how do I do that?

    You will have to login to http://www.holorising.com/wp-login.php
    with your old user and password.

    Then you can go to Users -> Add New

    Add the new user.

    Log out, Log back in as the new user you just created.

    Optionally you can delete the old user once you’ve saved the information regarding the new user you just created.

    Tried but no go. Just discovered that when I uploaded my database, the user files somehow didn’t make it over to the new server. Re-uploaded full database and simply changed the user name and password to what I wanted in the mySQL_wp users file.
