Clone replacing but url is odd

    The expected behavior after clicking the “Replace Original” button on an alternate version is to be redirected to the “Edit Page” screen for the original page with a notification that reads:

    “The alternate version has replaced the data of this post and been deleted.”

    From that point on you will no longer be able to edit the alternate version, as the notification indicates.

    When you say “I get http://www.site.edu/?page_alt=applynow” what exactly are you referring to? Where does that link appear?
