Clicking photo takes visitor to top of page (2 posts)

I love the NextGEN functionality, yet there seems to be a hiccup that is costing me page traffic.

I opted for installing image lists instead of slideshows on my pages. NextGEN add a link to a slideshow over that.

When a visitor clicks the link to convert from an image list to a slideshow, they are taken to the top of the page, and have to scroll back down to get back to where the image list was.

If they are on the slideshow view of the images, and click the link to convert the view back to image list, they are taken to the top of the page and have to scroll back down to get back to the images.

I've been told that visitors have left the page rather than scrolling back down.

I would like to remove the option from the page, so that visitors can only click the images in the image list.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

This issue has been somewhat resolved by me, finally (my own stupidity) finding the page to remove the secondary link.

If you are having problems with this, the solution is to go to:

Gallery / Options / Gallery - 4th item down on this page, and remove the check mark beside Integrate Slideshow.

The image list now appears on the page and the Slideshow link option is gone, thankfully.

Still don't understand why clicking the link would take a visitor to the top of the page.. and at this point, don't care. :-)

    Cheers,

    Bill
