   I was looking at my google webtools account and saw several hundred 404 errors. after looking at it a few minutes i realized it was all of the "tags" I was using for my post and possibly a permalink issue as well. I have simplified the permalinks to read just the "%postname%" Vs. /blog/%postname%/ However the tags are still reading as such:

   http://www.whatisweightloss.com/Weight Loss/soy/.

   The "Weight Loss" is the Category base and/or the Tag base they are both listed as the same.

   Hence the error page. I have removed all of my tags and tried re-adding. I have also tried WCS Permalnk fix, Simple Tags and maybe thing or two else with out any sucess. can anyone offer any help.

   ps I am not a programmer so please be kind to the simple man with a WP site :)

   OK Making progress I removed the "Weight Loss" from the Tag Base field on the Permalinks page and now it is resolving the my tags.

   Question: Is there any way to recover all of the tags I deleted? or do I have to start over....
