   maybe i missed something. is there a trick to get this gears thing working? installation was quick, but implementation hasn't happened yet. don't even know if works. nothing has popped up to say "would you like gears to work on this page?" or anything to indicate that it is working.

   Not sure, but, Gears doesn't work on Firefox 3 yet. So if you upgraded to FF3, then it disabled your Gears extension.
