You’re site isn’t loading the custom version of prettyPhoto that comes with Shashin. It’s loading a standard version that you have installed from a different plugin.

Did you upgrade Shashin from an older version? Let me know. If so, there may be a bug I need to fix.

Same here, I installed newest version, but when click on image it goes to picasa. I setup plugin to use PrettyPhoto.

    Here is my site: http://mustrabecka.com/2013/08/rostilj-i-alkohol-96/

I enabled “Rounded corners” and that work, but oppening in PrettyPhoto no.

Were either of you using prettyPhoto with Shashin before I released version 3.4, and did you have another plugin that provided prettyPhoto on your site? Please let me know, as that will be a helpful clue.

I have not used PrettyPhoto before Shashin, I’v instaled Alpine “PhotoTile for Picasa and Google+” when Shashin stoped working, there is option to use Prettyphoto but I use Lightbox (safemode) for this page: http://mustrabecka.com/grafike/

I realy like Shashin and I want to use it. I update wp to latest version also.

chule024: I think your theme is missing a wp_footer() call. This is an important WordPress hook that many plugins (including Shashin) rely on:

xemiilx: this is not the problem with your site. Please answer my previous question and then I’ll check into further.

    I will try this now.

It’s all works now fine! Thanx for help.

Question is how plugin worked before – when I instaled in summer?

    Hi Mike,

Thank you for answering my question, i’m sorry that I first saw your answer now.

Okay, to your question, I just downloaded shashin a week ago for the first time.
And after setting it up, the problem was there from the start, with the album going to the google+/picassa on click instead of displaying it on my website.

Then I was trying to fix the problem, and therefore tried to install an external prettyphoto for wordpress, and hoped it would solve the problem, but still same problem.

Now I have turned the external prettyphoto plugin off again and deleted it.
But as you can se on my site the problem is still there:

Thank you so much for your help Mike, I really appreciate it! 🙂

    Best Regards
    Emil

xemilix: Now that you’ve removed the other version of prettyPhoto, the javascript error message has changed, and I see what the problem is now. Your site is loading an old version of jQuery. It’s loading version 1.4.2, and Shashin requires version 1.7 or higher.

I don’t know if it’s your own custom theme or not. The theme is loading jQuery from Google (and it’s pointing to an old version), which is not considered best practice for WordPress. There’s a lengthy essay on why here:

    http://pippinsplugins.com/why-loading-your-own-jquery-is-irresponsible/

If you’re not a programmer yourself I recommend contacting your theme author, and ask him/her to change how the theme is loading jquery.

chule024: in the new version of Shashin I changed it so it loads its javascript in the page footer (instead of the head), which is better for performance reasons.

Great, thanks oncemore for your help and time.
