Clear Theme editing

    Hi.
    I’m new to this wordpress.
    I’m using the clear theme, but want to change some things I can’t quite figure out.
    The “glow” around the center column I want to remove, changing the font size for the post titles, removing “home” from the top.

    I’m trying to integrate this with my indexhibit site, to make it as seamless as possible.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Solved most of my own problems, but still wondering about the “glow”, and I’ve looked but can’t seem the decrease the size of the header anymore than what I have now.

    the glow is from a image (img/bg.png) but this image is in two places. #main and #menu.
    The header is empty. Its not the one taking the height. Its the #menu. there is a min-height: 75px;
