"Clear image cache" leads to 403 | WordPress.org

Hi guys,

with the NGG plugin, clicking “Clear image cache” in “Other Options”, it leads me to a 403 Forbidden Error.

I’m using the last version of WP and NGG.

Is it a permission problem? I hope you can help me 🙂

@iperdesign_it – My first thought would be to check permissions for an error message like this, check the permission structure in your /gallery/ folder to ensure the sub-folders are inheriting 0755 permissions.

my Gallery and subfolders have the 0755 permissions already:

Also ( i forgot to say ) i have not any caching method, like w3tc, activated.

Ok after reading this thread, i’ve just added “SecFilterEngine Off” to the .htaccess and now there is no problem.

It seems that some hosting does not recognize as legitimate a POST request.
