   On the post edit/write page, the custom fields drop box has custom field names back from 2 years ago. How do I get rid of them?

   One possibility: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/mass-custom-fields-manager/

   Or maybe remove the unwanted wp_postmeta entries using phpMyAdmin.
