   I bought a domain http://www.bizownerstrategy.com and want it to be the address for my blog website. When I set up my account, the WordPress address url became http://www.bizownerstrategy.com/blog and this is the same for my blog. I changed the blog address to http://www.bizownerstrategy.com (no "/blog") in general settings.

   Now, going to http://www.bizownerstrategy.com takes me to my index files.

   Directions posted in general settings for "blog homepage to be different from the directory" is beyond my understanding.

   How can I/who can help me make this work?

   First, follow the directions in http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_The_Site_URL

   Then when everything is working again, see http://codex.wordpress.org/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

   Thanks. Actually, my hosting provider fixed the problem. But other problems remain. e.g. my pages don't appear, and they don't stick when I insert them from my dashboard. I have the feeling that I should start over and reinstall the WordPress software. Any thoughts?
