“Cleaning” .htaccess

    I’m having trouble with access to my archives via the links on my main page (I recently changed the permalink structure). I was told that I may want to “clean out my .htaccess of the WordPress-related rewrites and then reset the permalink structure.” How do I do this?

    It’s marked in your .htaccess file with the tag:
    # Begin WordPress

    and is concluded with the tag:
    # End WordPress

    This is where the WP “related rewrites and conditions” are located.
