    Hi

    I want to delete my blog but I want to keep the address. I want to start again with a clean slate no plugins or anything.

    Hope you can help.

    Go to your FTP Client and delete your WordPress installation. Reinstall WordPress to start right over. What is your hosting?

    I have wp-admin, wp-content, and wp-includes on my client side. Do I delete these and start over and still keep my address?

    If I were you, I would save them in a new directory or onto your computer just incase anything goes wrong. Other than backing up your old files, you are ready to go! Just go ahead and delete the files after you have backed them up (and/or uninstall WordPress from your hosting). Reinstall WordPress for a fresh start.
    Good Luck!

    I deleted the wp content, includes, and admin. It didn't work so I put them back.

    When I go to wp-admin I get:
    Warning: require_once(/home/bnn53373/public_html/wp-load.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/bnn53373/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 30

    Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/bnn53373/public_html/wp-load.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/bnn53373/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php on line 30

    How do I correct this?

    Try re-uploading all files & folders from a fresh download of your version of WordPress.

    It won't let me upload from a fresh download of WordPress. How do I completely remove WordPress and keep my web address when I re-upload?

    I was told to delete the plugin and that should fix the problem. It didn't. I still get the same error message. How do I get my wordpress site back?

    What hosting do you use?

    I get free hosting through my Chris Farrell Membership. Chris has a video that shows how to completely delete WordPress and re-install it. It's a great video. I think you have to be a member to get it. If you'd like to check it out you can go to: http://gchrist2.farrell10.hop.clickbank.net .
    I think you can sign on as a guest and see what he has to offer. Anyway, I followed the video and was able to re-install.
