Class PDO not found

When I try to run an import, I get the following:
Fatal error: Class ‘PDO’ not found in /home/culturev/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fg-joomla-to-wordpress/fg-joomla-to-wordpress.php on line 225
And can’t continue the import. Any suggestions?
