   Hi guys,

   Save me going to the hassle of testing it...

   If I implement this will I have 'wordpress' in any of my site URLs?

   Media -- you are probably right, but you could put those in a different folder. But even if you install WordPress in your web-root folder and put media in subfolders you would still have the issue.
