[resolved] CJT Plugin is not working and cannot install upgrade to premium (4 posts)

    Hello,
    We updated our plugins today including yours and now my home page isn't working right because the CJT plugin isn't working. I keep getting this error:

    CJT Plugin has been installed throught WordPress Plugins manager page. In order for CJT Plugin to work correctly you must install it throught CJT-Instalaltion page.

    Please or you can go to the installation page directly through the CSS & Javascript Toolbox page.

    I can't find where to install it on the plugin page, on your web site in fact anywhere except via the WordPress plugins page. I figured if I upgraded that would solve the problem but I can't install the upgrade as I get the error message:

    Installing Plugin from uploaded file: css-javascript-toolbox.6.1.1.2.zip

    Unpacking the packageā€¦

    Installing the pluginā€¦

    Destination folder already exists. /home/mrl2/musicroomlondon.com/wp-content/plugins/css-javascript-toolbox/

    Our code seems to be lost also which is a real problem for us.

    How can we fix this problem?

    The site is at http://www.musicroomlondon.com and you will see that the accordion at the top of the page normally is just a mess all over the page and likewise our Testimonials scroller is also messed up. Seems the CJT is not writing the code to the header any more. Or something like that.

    Our client is not happy so I would appreciate it if you could get back to me as soon as possible please. Thank you

    Hello,

    The error you're seeing is not error! Its a note produced by the Plugin that inform you to go to the CSS & Javascript Toolbox page (from the dashboard menu item) and click install/upgrade button there. That is all about install or upgrade! Click on any link on the error/note message and it'll redirect you to the Installation page.

    I'm here and dedicated to your issue! Just let me know what happened!

    Notes regards losing your data.

    You won't lose your data as long as you didn't deactivate and delete the Plugin from the Plugins list page! Deactivate and Delete the Plugin using WordPress Plugins list page will wipeout your data! This applying to all version before 6.0.15 Community Edition and all versions before 6.1.1.2 Premium Edition. The later ones don't WipeOut user data when uninstalled.

    Also please let me know what version you were using before the upgrade. Is it 6.0.14 or 6.0.15 CE?

    Thank you for the prompt and informative response. It was helpful. Although I have to confess that by the time this was posted Damian had already responded to my email via your contact form. He was supremely proactive, jumped on it straight away, even though it was some unearthly hour in his part of the world. He worked on it for a good solid hour and solved the problem for us perfectly. I can't praise you guys enough for what is a superb plugin but moreso for what ranks as amongst the best customer service / support I've experienced full stop. Bravo!
