    In Chrome, with the post editor toggled to Text (not Visual), so long as this plugin is installed, I can SEARCH for text that I know appears in the editor, but FINDING the text is mostly not working.

    Finding DOES work for me
    – in Chrome as long as I toggle the Visual mode on;
    – in FireFox in both Text and Visual modes.

    Just an FYI.

    I, for one, really need to be able to use the browser’s Search capability in my editor.

    My only other wish is to find a syntax highlighter that highlights SHORTCODES! Any chance you would add that? Or add the ability to define the highlighted patterns, so we could add that ourselves?

    Thanks for the nice plugin.

    By the way, I am using WP 3.8.

    I would add that by editing. But, on the wordpress.org site, clicking “edit” without refreshing my browser has for some time now sent me to the Support page!

    But that’s another bug altogether. 🙂

    I believe this plugin has no connection with Chrome’s search problems. Try to disable this plugin and check if browser’s search is working or not.

    Codemirror library used in this plugin doesn’t support shortcodes yet.
