Which fields are you hoping to turn off? Those in the submit form?
Company fields can be disabled with a snippet :https://github.com/mikejolley/WP-Job-Manager/wiki/Editing-Job-Submission-Fields
The actual display of the data can be hidden with css.
Hi – thanks for the reply – yes that looks like it might do it. I would need to remove the Company and Categories on the front end so people looking at the website couldn’t see them.
Do you know if it’s possible to add drop-down choices to the Job Title or Job Location fields?
Thank you!
Hi kathrynmichaud,
By default this isn’t possible as far as I’m aware, you would probably look at some customisation work…
At the risk of shameless self promotion, you could consider Auto Job Suggest (http://tinygiantstudios.co.za/store/wp-job-manager-auto-job-suggest) and Auto Location (http://tinygiantstudios.co.za/store/wp-job-manager-auto-location) – which does provide dynamic dropdown options as the user types?
Hope it helps 🙂
Hi – many thanks – both of those suggestions look very interesting and might be useful for this and future projects!
I would like to remove the company logo option from the submit form and the display. How would i do that?
