Choose a parent page for custom post type? (1 post)

    I want to make a custom post type and place it in the structure like we do with pages. is this even possible?

    example: post type - Press Release
    Placement: /news-and-media/press-releases/2012/*

    I thought this was doable through permalink structure:
    /news-and-media/press-releases/%year%/%postname%
