    Hey, basically got little problem.

    Got a wordpress blog setup,

its hosted by someone who i cant contact and wont give FTP access to me.

problem being, the directories arnt set to 666 or whats not to allow read/write access to the wordpress script.

no ftp details so cant set them in the normal fashion.

tried using the upload script in wordpress to upload a shell that will allow to change permissions. but obv not working coz of upload file type restrictions.

all this coz i cant edit my theme to change some css properties or install new plugins, or upgrade wordpress or anything basically.

So if anyone has any backhanded ideas how to get this sorted (without the obvious move host) solution it would be much appreciated!!

    THANKS MUCHO LURRRVEE!! x

The only other way would be to use the command line if you shell access.

Of course there is a PHP way to, not guaranteed to work on every setup, but a possiblity nonetheless.. :)
