Chip Zero – how to change colors etc…
-
Hello,
I am fairly brand new to WordPress and I have spent hours getting myself going. After moving through many themes, I have finally settled on Chip Zero, however, there are somethings I would like to change. If its even possible, could someone please help me with the following:
1. How do I change the main color theme? There is an overall theme of blue, and I would like to change this as my logos etc. are more black themed. I know how to do the simple background color/image change, but how do I change the overall color theme?
2. Under “Pages”, whenever I make a sub-page, or “child” of a parent page, it shows up indented on the right hand side. I would prefer if only my “parent” pages show up there, and the “children” pages become drop down menus like the header menu area (which I like), or the “children” pages are only accessable via actually entering the parent page.
3. Linking pages to pages. As an example, I have a parent page titled “Extras”. Since this is a band webpage, I would like to have a subcategory of “Lyrics” (in addition to other subcategories) und the parent page of “Extras”. I do not want the “Lyrics” tab to show up anywhere on the main page. I would prefer the user to click “Extras” from the main page, and then on the actual “Extras” page, there will be links to further pages ie. Lyrics, videos, etc… I guess basically how do I create pages that exist, but are not visible at all on the homepage. Can I/how do I create pages that are linked to other pages, but do not appear on the homepage?
Thank you so much in advance.
