    well, alright, i just don't get it. i want to list the subpages of one page- parent, which has the id:3. since i simply don't understand how the wp_list- child_of- command works, could someone please post the exact string for the page- parent with the id:3?

    Template Tag, wp_list_pages(), describes this function.

    wp_list_pages('child_of=3')

    this is it? found something far more complicated in the codex. hm..

    and is it possible to not show "Pages" right in front of the list?

    Look at the title_li parameter in wp_list_pages.

    thanks for the fast answer...

    i have no <?php wp_list_pages('child_of=3') ?>, where do i put the echo- command? if i put it inside, i'll get an error, outside it only writes another line...

    some tags have echo functionality built-in, such as wp_list_pages() and wp_list_categories(); others don't. Read this page for more detail:
