Child Themes: Confused Blogger

    In the style.css template for a child theme we, among other lines, are told to include the line:

    Theme Name: Twenty Fourteen Child

    Then we are told we can customize the lines as we wish, but no explanation as to how. Don’t know about you, but I need details (Otherwise things get mucked up). Help?

    Here’s what I uses for the header in my child theme style.css:

    /*
 Theme Name:     <Child Theme Name> (whatever name you want)
 Description:    A <parent theme name> Child Theme (whatever you want)
 Author:         My Name
 Author URI:     My website
 Template:       <parentthemename> (foldername of the parent theme, i.e. twentytwelve)
 Version:        1.0.0
