child style.css not working/responding

    Hi,

    I’m new to wordpress and i’m trying to change the theme to suit my preference with a child theme. However, it seems like whatever codes i add to my child styles.css, it does not affect my web at all.

    What I would like to do is to
    1. Remove the navigation that appears above all the post title
    e.g. << blogPost02 and blogPost03 >>

    2. Reduce the post title size only for the category page

    Please help.

    I’ve tried adding more basic stuff example

    .entry-title {
    display:none;
    }

    and it appears to be working. Would close this question even though I did not manage to achieve what I want.
