child page loses sub-menu when used with different template?

Hi – for reference see blog.hernandoluxuryhomes.com – I’m setting up to use wordpress as a CMS and have the “Home” Page as a parent with “Featured Listings”, “Mission Statement”, “Purpose”, etc as child Pages underneath. I created a new template to be used with the Featured Listings Page so that it would pull posts from my “Featured Listings” category into the page…and unfortunatley, when I use that new template, I lose the Child Page sub-menu (even though Featured Listings is a sub-page for “home”) and I don’t know how to get it back while still retaining the functionality that I’m looking for. Any help???
