HELP!
I have my menu's set and had the child pages set in the menu dragged slightly to the right so they appeared as a drop down. Now they all became parent manu items and i can drag them to the right but they pop back to the left posision as soon as i click save. tried deleting the pages and re making them with the parent and child setting all dont but the menu still wont let me set anything in the chilt posision.

Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading all files & folders - except the wp-content folder - from a fresh download of WordPress.

Hi im using 2011. all was working well untill i went for lunch, came back and this was happening aghh!
Did you carry out all of the other steps?

yes I did... it says it need updating.. if i do that will it be the same as a fresh copy of wp?

wordpress 3.4.1 is available please update now
You should carry out the upgrade asap as it includes some security fixes but, as it will only be a partial upload, it may not fix your issue.

complete fresh install.. still no luck
Did you carry out all of the steps above?

So..... I can edit anything in firefox or chrome, but nothing in IE.... fixed the problem but no idea why IE wont do anything!
