Currently I'm doing a project and well, I'm finished. The only problem is that in using a bunch of plugins (six), I'm getting 30 requests just by entering the front page.. Not really that great since it's going to be aimed at russia, and the people there don't have the greatest of connections.
So, if i for example have a plugin that's enabled by a shortcode, and not used anywhere except for the pages with that specific shortcode, how do i stop it from enqueueing some five scripts in the page?
I'm pretty well versed in programming and have figured out where it hooks the wp_head and with what function, however, I do not get the specific thing I need to check to tell if the plugin is used or not..
Any tips?
