checkbox to search data from wp-table reloaded

    Hi Tobias,
    Please answer me a question. Is it possible to filter data from
    a table by means of checkbox situated above it? For example:
    There could be data: A1, A2, A3 in checkbox and when I higlight A1
    the table is filtered and show row from the table with data directly
    connected to A1.
    If you be so kind please answer me.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

    First: Please stop using WP-Table Reloaded, but migrate to TablePress, which is its official successor: http://tobias.baethge.com/2013/01/tablepress-replaces-wp-table-reloaded/

    Regarding your question: No, something like this is not possible out of the box. You would need custom JavaScript code, e.g. for the DataTables JS library, which WP-Table Reloaded and TablePress use for the filtering.
    With that library’s API, you can program custom filters.

    Hi Tobias,
    Thank you very much for your answer. I will change wp-table reloaded
    to tablepress in about two weeks. Maybe It will be possible to
    integrate tablepress with checkbox searching possiblities.

    Hi Robert,

    that’s good to hear!
    Well, TablePress does use the DataTables JS library as well, but it also does not have checkbox filtering by default. You will have to add it with some custom JS programming.
