• Hello All,
Suppose I have few list of plugins and I wants to check the licensing of the plugin say, Single IP plugin or Multiple IP plugin and wants to check it through wordpress code.
So, is there any way to check the plugin licensing?
Quick and positive response will be appreciated.
    Thank You

  • Open the readme.
Open the file that is the name of the plugin.
    They usually have it.

    BUT
Every single plugin in the directory MUST be GPL or GPL compatible.

If you find one that is not – please email plugins@wordpress.org

Thank you for your response. But my question is how can I check whether the plugin is single IP or multi IP plugins. I wants to write a code which should check the plugins licensing.

I do not know what you mean.

For what are you going to use this?

ok, Let me explain you. There are some paid plugins which have Single-site License and there are some plugins which can can have Multi-site License.
So, I wants to write a code which will check which this licensing of the plugin. Whether the plugin has Single-site license or multi-site license?

Not on the WordPress repository there aren’t. They can’t do that, unless the plugin requires an API connection.
