SaberjI've been reading through the codex, trying to find a function to do what I need, but I haven't had any luck. I'm hoping someone will be able to point me in the right direction.
Basically, I'm trying to edit my Author pages to check to see if a Page exists with the Author's name. If it does, I want it to insert that page on the Author's page.
Basically, I want to let each author edit their own page. A page would allow them more control over their own section on the website than the typical "Biographical Info" section for the author. They would be able to add pictures, plenty of information, and even a video if they wanted.
Then when people navigate to an author's page, it would check, "If a page exists with this author's name as the title, include it's contents on this page"
I have a similar plugin for displaying a page on a category page, but it's limited to linking pages to categories, and doesn't work with Author pages.
